The Edge: TLC for your beloved pets. § Since 1991 these folks have been providing tender, loving care for your pets. Individualized walks (one or two dogs at a time). Serves over 200 clients. Standard Manhattan prices with half- and full-hour walks available. Discounts for more than 10 walks per week. Provides boarding in staff members’ homes for dogs and cats—prices are reasonable and vary with the size and needs of the dogs. Included are four walks per day. They’ll also arrange housesitting if your pet doesn’t like to leave home! Staff is hired based on three references and a trial co-walk test with the owners of Urban Animal. If you need a pet, give them a call as these folks periodically adopt strays and seek good homes for their adoptees.
